Hello! I am Sophie and I am the creator of Drummie-Bee. I am a knitwear designer based in the beautiful Shetland Islands in Scotland. For many years I have had a great interest in art and design with a particular passion for knitwear and textiles. Drummie-Bee was founded in 2017 following my studies in Contemporary Textiles at Shetland College UHI. 

 

Drummie-Bee products are designed and machine knitted by myself at my home in Lerwick, Shetland. My work is largely inspired by my surroundings. The nature, fishing industry and amazing scenery in Shetland is the source of all designs. Find out more about my home and why I love living in Shetland here.
